* 8 week exercise and healthy eating plan
Five out of twelve squad members took on the 6-8 week Drop a Dress Size BioAge Case Study challenge. After initial testing these five clients four were very stunned/shocked/gutted to see their Biological Ages prior to the program, but all had great attitudes to do something about it.
What did they do to shred the kilos and improve their BioAge result?
- Ate 5-6 meals a day (3 snack meals and 3 main meals) that equated to 1200 calories a day.
- They exercised 2 times a week in their group of 12 people with their qualified trainer who pushed them out of their comfort zone with interval style training regimes and monitored intensity with Polar heart rate monitors.
- They attended Lifestyle’s Group Exercise classes, boxing, cycling, running and power walking. The Maidstone Hill run/walk with tyres, Bosu, Swissball and resistance circuits were a huge part of their success.
- Rest days were crucial for muscle recovery.
- They made friends to train with and met up on Sunday mornings to ‘walk the hill’.
- They were held accountable to their team, especially on Mondays (weigh in day), green pen was good loss, red pen was NO loss… and no one wanted the red pen!!!
- From DADS they made new friends, gained more confidence – and some even became a bit ‘lippy’!
