Lifestyle’s Ben Montague takes TVNZ ‘Good Morning’ presenter Sarah Bradley through a 5-minute Muscle Express (MX) upper body workout. Developed at Lifestyle Health and Fitness, Muscle Express (MX) is a weights-to-music work out based on fundamental weight training principles and designed to improve your muscular strength and body shape. Uncomplicated movements so minimal co-ordination required.

Lifestyle Health and Fitness Member and professional fire fighter Nigel le Grice is heading to Auckland on the 11th September 2011 take part in the NZ Fire Service BNZ Tower Climb. The climb is to commemorate the 10 year anniversary of 9/11, particularly the many fire fighters who lost their lives that day. The event is also to remember fallen NZ fire fighters. The fallen fire fighters’ names are read out before firefighters leave to climb.

For the 2011 event BA tallys have been made up with the fallen fire fighters names.

Although this 28-floor climb is not as high as Skytower (53 floors), participating fire fighters carry an additional 45k of equipment, a 30m length of coiled hose and a sledge hammer.

Nigel has found his Results Based Training (RBT) sessions with trainer Tracy Heron to be invaluable in his preparation for this and similar events.
